Kalakkad is a village located in the Tirunelveli district of Tamil Nadu, India. It is famous for its rich biodiversity and scenic landscapes, primarily due to its proximity to the Kalakkad Mundanthurai Tiger Reserve (KMTR), one of the state's most significant protected areas.
